The 2014 Emmy Awards: A Complete Winners List

The 2014 primetime Emmy awards are now behind us and for many, and these awards will feel like a repeat of the 2013 Emmy awards. Not only did Modern Family win its tie-breaking fifth year in a row as best comedy but Breaking Bad repeated as the year’s best drama. The two comedic leads– Jim Parsons for The Big Bang Theory and Julia Louis-Dreyfus for Veep— also repeated. As did Anna Gunn as best supporting actress for Breaking Bad.

Amid the repeats though were a few nice surprises as Kathy Bates claimed her second Emmy win on her twelfth nomination and Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman both won for their respective roles in Sherlock: The Last Vow.
