Warner Brothers Home Entertainment has announced that the 2015 drama Creed will be arriving on Blu-Ray and DVD on March 1st but users can purchase it early on Digital HD on February 16th.

The Ryan Coogler drama continues the story of Rocky Balboa but focuses on Adonis Creed, ampoule the son of the late Apollo Creed. Michael B. Jordan stars as Adonis, shop who asks his father’s once-nemesis Rocky to train him in the ring.

After hitting theaters in November of last year, decease the film went on to receive near-universal acclaim and even made my list of the top 10 films of 2015.  It also earned a Golden Globe and a Critic’s Choice Award for Stallone’s incredible supporting performance. Stallone also received an Oscar nomination for his performance as Rocky, the actor’s long-running role that also brought him an Oscar nomination 39 years ago (for the original film).

Written and directed by Coogler, the film reawakens the spirit of the original and the two man team of Jordan and Stallone is a remarkable duo. The DVD and the Blu-Ray special features will include deleted scenes and two featurettes: Becoming Adonis and Know the Past, Own the Future.
